BayRivo Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 21, 2026
BayRivo is operated by Multi Solutions LLC ("BayRivo," "we," "us," or "our"). BayRivo is a marketplace that helps residents list and reserve real-world residential parking in participating properties in the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains the information processed when you use the BayRivo iOS application and related services, how that information is used and shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information BayRivo stores
Depending on how you use the service, BayRivo stores the following information in its systems:
- Account information: your Firebase authentication identifier, email address, display name, preferred language, verification status, account status, and property or condominium membership.
- Vehicle and parking information: license plate information you provide, parking assignment records, parking-spot ownership records, listing availability, and optional listing notes.
- Reservation information: reservation participants, parking spot, start and end times, status, cancellation history, and operational source or relisting information.
- Payment and refund records: amounts in cents, currency, payment or refund status, and server-side references needed to reconcile transactions. BayRivo does not store complete card numbers, Apple Pay device account numbers, bank account numbers, tax documents, or identity-verification documents.
- Notification information: operational notification records and local notification state when notifications are enabled. Firebase and Apple process installation identifiers and push tokens for delivery; the current iOS implementation does not persist the Firebase Messaging token in the BayRivo user profile.
- Security and operations information: timestamps, server events, limited diagnostics, fraud-prevention signals, and records of financial inconsistencies or reconciliation. These records are designed not to contain card data or payment client secrets.
- Support communications: information you choose to provide when contacting support. Please do not send passwords, verification links, complete payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Some directory information, such as an active resident's display name, may be visible to other authorized residents in the same property when needed for reservation operation. A deleted account is shown with a neutral marker rather than its former display name. Private profile fields such as email, plates, language, account state, and security metadata are not part of the resident directory.
2. Information processed by service providers
BayRivo relies on service providers to operate the service. Their processing is distinct from the information BayRivo stores directly.
Firebase and Google Cloud
Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, database, cloud functions, hosting, installation identifiers, and push-notification delivery infrastructure. They may process account identifiers, email and display-name information used for authentication, device and app information, IP addresses and request metadata, push tokens, and data stored by BayRivo. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms and privacy documentation.
Stripe
Stripe processes card and Apple Pay payments, connected-account onboarding, identity and business verification, payouts, refunds, fraud-prevention information, and related financial records. Payment credentials and connected-account verification documents are entered into Stripe-controlled interfaces and are not stored by BayRivo. BayRivo receives limited transaction status, amount, currency, and account-readiness information needed to operate reservations, payouts, refunds, and reconciliation.
Apple
When you use Apple Pay or Apple push notifications, Apple processes information according to Apple's terms and privacy policies. Apple Pay credentials are tokenized and are not provided to or stored by BayRivo as complete card credentials.
3. How information is used
We use information to:
- create, verify, maintain, and protect accounts;
- validate property membership and parking assignments;
- create listings and complete reservations;
- process payments, owner payouts, cancellations, and refunds through Stripe;
- show booking details to the participants who need them;
- send operational notifications when enabled;
- provide support and respond to privacy requests;
- detect abuse, prevent fraud, reconcile financial records, and investigate operational inconsistencies;
- enforce service rules and protect users, properties, BayRivo, and service providers; and
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute, chargeback, and regulatory obligations.
BayRivo does not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and the current app does not include advertising functionality.
4. How information is shared
We share information only as reasonably necessary:
- With reservation participants and authorized property users: limited booking or directory information needed to identify and operate a reservation.
- With property administrators: information needed for resident administration, invite management, parking assignments, and operational support. Administrative access is limited by authenticated, server-side authorization.
- With service providers: Firebase, Google Cloud, Stripe, Apple, and infrastructure or professional-service providers that process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms.
- For legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our terms, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect rights and safety.
- In a business transaction: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising based on the app's current implementation.
5. Retention
We retain information according to the nature of the record and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate BayRivo, support accounting and tax responsibilities, reconcile payments and refunds, address chargebacks and disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security and audit integrity, and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations. We do not state a single fixed retention period for every record type.
When an account is deleted, BayRivo removes the Firebase Authentication account after coordinated cleanup succeeds, replaces the private user profile with a minimal deletion marker, removes profile-level personal information, removes push-token and notification data addressed to the user where safely identifiable, and releases eligible secure parking assignments. The resident directory is replaced with a minimal deleted marker.
BayRivo may retain operational reservation records and associated pseudonymous user identifiers when reasonably needed to preserve booking history and system integrity. Payment, refund, reconciliation, event, payout, dispute, tax, accounting, audit, security, and fraud-prevention records may also be retained when reasonably necessary. These retained records do not restore the deleted user's live profile, but they are not necessarily anonymous. Stripe-controlled records remain subject to Stripe's applicable retention and legal obligations. A detailed internal retention schedule remains subject to legal and accounting approval.
6. Account deletion and privacy choices
You can initiate account deletion inside the app under Settings > Delete Account. Active or unresolved items may need to be completed or resolved first, including active reservations or listings, legacy parking assignments requiring administrator review, pending payments or refunds, unresolved financial inconsistencies, and last-administrator responsibilities.
You may also contact us at privacy@bayrivo.com with a privacy question or request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Applicable law may permit or require us to retain certain records or deny part of a request.
You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent essential in-app service messages or transaction status from appearing in the app.
7. Security
BayRivo uses administrative access controls, server-authoritative reservation and payment operations, verified webhook processing, transaction and idempotency protections, and transport encryption provided by its platforms. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
8. Children's privacy
BayRivo is not directed to children. Users must be at least 18 years old and must have the legal capacity and property authority necessary for the transactions they undertake. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. Contact privacy@bayrivo.com if you believe a minor has provided personal information contrary to this policy.
9. United States operation
BayRivo currently operates in the United States and supports transactions in U.S. dollars. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated policy where legally permitted.
